Put Your Anthropological Work on the Web

  • Are you either a postgrad in anthropology in Ireland, or a member of the AAI?
  • Have you done any ethnographic anthropological research?
  • Could you communicate the research briefly in pictures or text?
  • Would you like to see your work publicised on the web?

The AAI website is now up and running, and is looking to promote awareness of some of the research which is being done in Ireland and by anthropologists in Ireland. So we are looking for AAI members or postgrads in Ireland to help us put some eye-catching, good anthropological work on the site.

The AAI would like to invite you to put together a small page or poster explaining your research. The best pages (as judged by the AAI committee) will be put on the website. Within the site, we have space for about 4 web-pages of maybe 1MB each, so a page might include for example a couple of good quality pictures with explanation, several smaller pictures, or attention-grabbing quotations – brevity and attractiveness are the aims! An A4-sized page is about right. It doesn’t have to be put together in web software, it could be in Word. or on paper.

Send your pages by 31 November 2005 to:
